Fun Fall Pictures

On Halloween day, I had my friend Chynna, take some pictures of our family. We of course waited until the leaves were almost gone, etc... BUT we got some really cute pictures. I have always been nervous to have pictures done, so it was nice to have a friend help us. It was really fun to have her give ideas on what to do, etc. as we have always taken our family pictures with a tripod and remote for our camera.. THANKS Chynna!!!!! You did awesome!

MOUTHS OF BABES

I am always cracked up by what my kids say, but I think these are some of the BEST lately!!!

As we were driving down, out of Jacobs Ranch the other day, passing by the new church......
GRACEY: "Gosh... JESUS is SOOOO lucky!!!"
Me: "Why do you say that?"
GRACEY: "Cuz he has SOOOO many houses!!!!!"


As I was returning home from work, and Brandon had spent all day long outside building an AWESOME "guesthouse" AKA: Playhouse.... for the kids, I found the house a wreck with arts and crafts, garbage, etc all over...
Me: "Do you guys know how hard daddy has worked on this playhouse for you?? Why is the house a wreck?"
Kids: " Don't know!?"
Me: "you should tell your dad how excited you all are about him working so hard to build your playhouse for you! Tell him thank you for always working for you guys!!"
Blakely: " Okay mommy! you are right!"

So... Daddy comes in...
Blakely: " Daddy you are so WONDERFUL!! you are the best dad ever!!"
(thick .. right???? VERY OBVIOUS they were put up to it)
Daddy: "you know you guys .. Thank you's are CHEAP.. Actions will show me how grateful you are!"
JOSEY: " Well Dad... WE ARE CHEAPSKATES!"


Daddy was not amused!!! I had a hard time keeping it together!!!

I am NOT dead!!!

I am sorry to all of my new blog friends!! I have been slacking, not because I am lazy, BUT because I am so busy!!! I do find time though to peak at all of yours!!!They are all awesome!!I really miss the time I used to spend blogging, and so tonight as I could not sleep, I am going to spend just a couple of minutes. Sorry to all of you who have tagged me.... I still plan on doing it... just way late of course.. but for anyone who really knows me, that is no real surprise.
The past couple of weeks, I have been busy working at

AND.......

I know this looks funny... but I have been working on our yard with my awesome husband who lets me do ALL of the guy things ..like drive a bobcat!!! We have been working feverishly day and night (me during the day, and him at night) to complete this HUGE project before winter...HOWEVER with Saratoga City turning off our secondary water, I think we are shot for sod until next spring...but it looks awesome...!!! We are a good team!!

THIEF ON THE LOOSE

OKAY!!! It has happened AGAIN!!!
Blakely: "MOM, SOMEONE STOLE MY MONEY!!!!"
Me: "Blakely, are you sure you didn't put it somewhere else? You know how
messy you are?!"
Blakely: " No, mom!!! I know it was in there!! I had $46 and now I only have $26!!"
Me: " Well honey?! Not sure what to tell you!? I will talk to your sisters!"
Blakely " BUT MOM!!!"
Brandon (DADDY): " Blakely , this is why I told you to put it in the bank"
(As if she could drive herself)
Blakely: "BUT MOMMY will NEVER TAKE ME!!!"
ME: AHH!!!! "It is always my fault!!! EVERYTHING!!"

So, I sat both Josey and Gracey down for a little interogation!!!! of sorts...ya know the kind that you give them the answers to the most probable scenarios.... AND... I tell you what!!!! I have some pretty good little liars! NOT a confession to be found!!! And as one of my scenarios was given to GRACELYN, this is what I found out........

Me: " Gracelyn, where did you see Blakely's wallet?"
Gracey: " On her black desk thing"
Me: "oh.. did you put it back there after you took Blakely's bill with a 2 and a 0 on it?"
Gracey: "what 2 and 0?"
Me: " Gracey, did you take bubba's money to school to give it to your friend?"
Gracey: "Mommy, I only took my special pretty penny to school to give to CHLOE as a friendship penny!"
Me: " What do you mean?"
Gracey: "It was so Chloe knew she was my friend!"
(so we have already learned that we have to buy friends?!? ahh!)
Me: " Gracey, did you take the money to Mrs. Phelps?"
Gracey: "I only took MY money! And she said it was too late for her to buy me a book at the book order! and I was really sad!"
Me: "gracey, I told you we weren't buying books this time!"
Gracey: " But it is MY MONEY!! and I will buy what I want!!"
Me: "what did the bill look like? did it have a 2 and a 0 on it?"
(trying so hard to bait her!)
Gracey: NO!!!!! It was mine!
Me: " Gracey, did you take bubba's money to play the crane game at Smiths?"
(if you don't all know, she is ADDICTED!!! we let her play once,
telling her she WOULDN'T win , and she DID!! all by herself!)

SOOO.... I move on to josey!!!! and this is what I got......

Needless to say!!!!!.... this is ALL I get out of JOSEY!!! She thinks she is hysterical, and really most of the time she is... It is really hard to keep a straight face through any subject with her!!!
As we finished this topic, with NO RESOLVE....
Blakely continues to say: "But MOMMY.. What are we going to do about my money?"
Daddy: " well, I guess we can take it off of what you owe mom for your new
SPY sunglasses!"
Blakely: "WHAT?!" " I will never have enough money for that new build a bear!?"
Daddy:" Oh you forgot about that?"
Me: " I did! Thanks for reminding me!"
Daddy: "Oops! Sorry Blake!"

CLEAR CREEK 2008

It has been since I was in 5th grade..1984 to be exact... that I went to.............
I am getting ready to return, and am so excited. The memories of the fun times there are so fresh to me, and I can't wait. I really cannot believe that I have a daughter in 5th grade, old enough to go! Oh my how the years fly. I can't wait to see the little cabins, the bunkbeds the SHOWERS!!! Blakely is so excited to have me go with her, but NOT as excited as I am!! I will surely post pictures as soon as we get back..!

Bus Ride

Today was Gracey's first bus ride EVER!! She was so excited and I.. SO NERVOUS!! I went to the bus stop early so that I could snap a couple of pics.....

Josey's new TOAD!!

Today, as I was waiting in the kindergarten playground for Gracey's class to start... I heard a small voice saying " GRACEY COME HERE!!" I looked toward the fence and this is what I saw....HOW SWEET!! HUGS AND HUGS !

..... Then this is what I saw!! Josey had somehow managed to TRADE a friend.. a baby grasshopper for a TOAD!!! Now we are off to the store to get a HOME!!!

First day of KINDERGARTEN

Oh the emotions!! I am so HAPPY, I am so SAD, I am so SCARED!! My baby, my monster is in school EVERYDAY!! AHH! Not sure how she will do? Not sure how I will do? Oh how I miss all 3 of them.
