Grandaughters with grandma!!!

After many long years of work and NO play, we decided to take a family VACATION!!! Our vacation started out in Utah, with Grandma Jill coming to spend a week with us. We did lots of fun things, including Lagoon, parade, etc. Grandma then planned to take our 3 little girls home with her to Vancouver , WA.. This was scary for me, as I have never really been away from my children before, especially for a WHOLE week. I was especially nervous about the 13 hour drive they were making to get there. Needless to say, they made it just fine. That weekend, Brandon and I went to Park City to spend a weekend for our anniversary. We had a great time, and it was really nice to spend time alone with him. We played at the Park City resort, going on the Alpine Slide, Mountain Coaster and the Zip rider. A week later, we drove the same tretuous 13 hours to Vancouver to spend a week there. We arrived on Friday afternoon , and mostly rested, and visited with family. We found our 3 little girls having a BLAST... not even missing us, as they had taken over Grandpa's newly built shed and made it their playhouse, fully decorated with drawings and furnished with sleeping bags, pillows, dvd player, etc. This was the first real vacation they had away from us, and they were LOVING every minute of it. On Saturday, we traveled into Oregan, to Lincoln beach, and then onto Newport Beach where we had an Ocean front Hotel reserved. As we pulled into "THE COAST", my breath was taken away. I have never seen such beauty!!!! Tall green pines, green foliage of the greenest green you could image, and then large rocky cliffs, and endless ocean. I have never wanted to move from Utah ever !!!!! Until now. I have asked Brandon several times since we returned, to please take me there to live. The country farm land areas near the coast are a dream!!! The one thing I did not expect or even dream of, is the lack of WARMTH!! When I imagine going to the beach, I imagine warm weather, lots of sun and bathing suits... SOOOOOO that is what I planned for. My poor kids, had summer clothes , and 1 measly sweatshirt!!! It was down right cold, but they were so excited to be there anyways!! We spent two nights there , with Grandma, Aunt Shaunna, Aunt Suzanne, and their cousins. We really had a lot of fun. We adventured to the Oregan Aquarium , which too was amazing. If any of you know me, I am obsessed with TRYING to get good pictures for my walls, that I actually NEVER hang!!! So.... we took nearly 1200 pictures on our vacation.... I have posted some of my fav's!!!!
